Ideas I want to share about my life outside of health and fitness. However, I love making connections among ideas I come across so there will probably be similar themes which relate back to healthy/fitness which will be obvious within my posts. Life is all about balance though. Although I spend a large amount of time invested in the health and fitness lifestyle, I do have other interests. Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, listening to music, anything which allows creative expression, eventually I would like to try gardening, I love giving back to others in my community, and much more.

Losing Weight, but Gaining More

  • Dieting and Reverse Dieting

I post this not for attention and public compliments but to help you realize you can do the same. These pictures are almost 3 years apart. Summer 2013 to summer 2016. A couple periods of slowly cutting and then slowly reverse dieting.

What Matters To You?

  • Philosophy

What matters to you? In other words, who or what do you love? Is it family? Your career? Your health? What about the love for yourself? Accept love from others and watch it manifest within you. To invest in yourself is one of the wisest decisions […]

Empowerment

  • Philosophy

Continuously find the good each day. Challenge yourself. If it scares you, follow it. Don’t compare. It’s no one’s journey but your own and you don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Work in silence. Timing will expose what you manifest. And as long as […]

Embrace the Pain

  • Philosophy

Something I wrote a couple weeks back. Have had several conversations with others in the past couple weeks where this topic is a recurring theme, so I figured I would share it. Maybe it will resonate with you. 😊 Love is acceptance. Of self, and […]

Synergy

  • Philosophy

We are all reliant on one another. Little success is found in selfish acts. And this is something one must realize as they grow. There is power in being connected and working in synergy. What you lack is something you can improve upon. Often times, […]

You are King (or Queen)

  • Philosophy

Destiny. To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only obligation. By following what you truly love, you feel alive. Anything outside of this, makes you feel lifeless. An undesired state of suffering. Live life from the inside out, not trying to put on a show […]

Social Experiment

  • Philosophy

I went to a networking event of young professionals a couple months back, more so as a social experiment but also to… well, network. Instead of the normal questions you ask in this setting, I switched it up. I asked people questions like, “What hobbies […]
