Cinnamon Sugar Protein Donuts

Fall is officially here and that means a trip to the apple orchard & cider mill is in order. Everyone knows the best part of going to the cider mill is the donuts!

While tasty, they are not the healthiest.

This cinnamon sugar donut recipe has been *healthified* to maintain balance and avoid over-indulgence.

๐Ÿฉ Ingredients

44g, or 1 serving Betty Crocker spice mix
๐Ÿ‚ 68g, or 2 scoops whey (I used Cellucor PB Marshmallow and Lean Pro 8 Vanilla)
๐Ÿ‚ 150g, or 1 container Greek Yogurt (I used Yoplait 100 cal Apple Pie)
๐Ÿ‚ 100g, or ~1/2 an Apple, diced
๐Ÿ‚ 138g, or 3 egg whites (I used egg beaters)
๐Ÿ‚ 8g, 1/2 T coconut oil
๐Ÿ‚ 1/4 tsp baking powder
๐Ÿ‚ 1 tsp vanilla
๐Ÿ‚ cinnamon and sugar

๐Ÿฉ Recipe
1) Mix together spice mix, whey, and greek yogurt.
2) Add apple, egg beaters, baking powder, and vanilla, mix in blender.
3) Stir in coconut oil.
4) Bake at 350 for 10 min.
5) Top with a little melted butter, and then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Makes 6 servings. 112 calories/donut and macros are: 11C/11P/2F.
